About

Built to close the skills and opportunity gap

EASTC Foundation NPC is the social impact and development arm of the EASTC Technocentric Varsity ecosystem.

Why we exist

South Africa and the wider continent face a dual crisis: high youth unemployment and a shortage of job-ready technical skills. Too many talented young people cannot access quality TVET, internships, or digital training because of cost, geography, or gender barriers.

The Foundation was established in 2026 as a registered non-profit company to mobilise grants, CSI, government, and community partnerships — then convert those resources into scholarships, mobile outreach, and workforce programmes delivered through EASTC campuses, workshops, and labs.

Legal & governance posture

Registered Non-Profit Company (South Africa). Independent board oversight. MEL framework for donor reporting. Public Benefit Organisation and Section 18A status in process.

We are not a standalone college. We are a resource-mobilisation and delivery platform that uses existing EASTC infrastructure at shared cost.
